REPUTATION and Why it’s important

 –A good reputation has tangible and intangible effects.

-Companies with a great reputation attract great employees, pay less for supplies, and usual gain free press coverage.

 -It’s hard to build a good reputation and even hard to regain.

 -Reputation is built on performance, behavior, and communication.

 

Five Steps in Reputation Management

1. Target key areas that matter to your organization.

2. Target leaders, but don’t stop there.

3. Identify emerging players.

4. Use organizational resources.

5. Always be first to tell “news” to your constituency (Especially if it’s bad news).
